We're pleased to announce that Bill's CD "Yes to Running!" has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album for Children. This is Bill's fifth nomination (he previously won for "Blah Blah Blah").
Here is what Bill had to say about the nomination:
"I'm delighted and honored that people have nominated me for 'Yes to Running!' - I'm especially happy because the nomination also honors Montana Public Television/Radio and Daniel Dauterive, who hatched the idea for the concert and did such a good job at producing it. Their commitment to programming for kids and families is incredible. I'm also very appreciative of the continued support of so many people in the 'industry' and around the country who have affirmed what we're trying to do at Round River. Honestly, I forgot this was the week for the announcement of the Grammy nominations but there were a dozen calls of congratulations on my cell phone when I got off stage from a show last night. Amazing. I think 'Yes to Running!' captures what I'm trying to do with the audience I want to reach. I really am humbled."
The Grammy Award ceremony takes place on Sunday Feb. 8. To see all the nominees visit www.grammy.com.
